Keep your kiddos busy while the food cooks! Great for the big day or leading up to, these easy, printable activities and templates are themed for Thanksgiving. Great for preschool-Kindergarten age kiddos.
As a kid, I remember waking up on Thanksgiving morning, turning on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and grabbing the giant turkey out of the newspaper to color and decorate as I watched.
But it’s 2025 and we don’t get the newspaper anymore, unless I go buy one at the gas station (which I might still do!).
This year I decided to throw together some printable activities for Viv to do so I have a standing chance at catching some of the parade. Or she’ll have something fun to do while football is on all day.
Grab each individual activity below! Most have been made printer friendly in neutrals so I’m not causing you to use up your colored ink. If there are any in color and you want to print grayscale, be sure and select the B&W or grayscale option in your settings before you print.
I have grown to appreciate it a little more since I was a kiddo, but I know for so many of us it tends to be a day of chaos. Hopefully at least a couple of these activities help fill the gaps of waiting around and entertaining kiddos.
Whether you’re traveling, hosting, cooking, or just showing up to participate, I hope your day is filled with love, laughter, and gratitude.
A very heartfelt Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours,
