Color-By-Number Worksheets

Color-By-Number Worksheets

These are the only thing that keeps my four year old interested in coloring, and now she loves to do them! It also keeps her busy and quiet for about 15 minutes, which is practically a miracle at this age.

I got a number of questions on where people could find the color-by-number worksheets that Viv was working on a few days ago when I shared to my stories on Instagram. We got them from our local library, but it got me feeling creative, so I made a few originals for all of us to have.

Up until recently we could not get Viv interested in coloring. I decided to try these worksheets and now she loves them! They’re more like puzzles to solve, which is more up her alley than having free-for-all creative license and not knowing or being able to decide which colors to use (which is where she struggles).

I like to highlight the crayons that tell which color to use with the matching crayon or marker (she’s not quite reading yet) and then let her get to it on her own.

It has also helped her learn to color within the lines. Not a super valuable skill in life, but does help fine tune the fine motor skills and holding a crayon and pencil comfortably.

Download these and print to your printer or use the Canva link to print.

I hope you enjoy them as much as Viv does!
