Making your own flavored butter does NOT have to be difficult, as proven in this recipe! Fluffy, sweet, and delightful on almost anything you want to sweeten up, I love having this as an alternative to regular butter. Easy to make with just three ingredients!
Prep time: 10 minutes
Total time: 10 minutes
Makes 1 cup of butter

- 1 cup (two sticks) salted butter, softened
- 6 Tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

- Add the softened butter to a medium mixing bowl or standing mixer and beat on medium speed for 1-2 minutes, until the butter becomes light, creamy, and slightly fluffy.
- Using a spatula, scrape the butter down the sides of the bowl so it is all in the center.
- Add the honey and cinnamon to the bowl and continue mixing for another 1-2 minutes until both are well incorporated and the butter looks creamy and evenly mixed.
- Transfer to a small jar or lidded container and store sealed in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

- If you aren’t sure what to do with this, it is fantastic on toast, English muffins, bagels, dinner rolls, muffins, pancakes, waffles, and almost any bread (maybe not Rye).
This is the ultimate way to level up your butter for brunch with your besties or family breakfast on the weekend. Even if it’s just for yourself THAT’S OKAY because, girl, you DESERVE some decadence in your life, even if it comes in the form of cinnamon honey butter. Personally, nothing would make me happier.
This also makes a great homemade gift. It’s easy to make, inexpensive, and something most people wouldn’t make for themselves. Spoiler alert: This might be what I make for friends and family this Christmas alongside a loaf of homemade Italian bread.
You can even make it up ahead of time and save yourself the headache of last minute gift shopping or wrapping. A cute bow or festive ribbon around the lid is all you need to make it cute for any occasion. It’s also nice to have a couple extra jars made for a neighbor, co-worker, or last minute meet up with a friend.
