This is a breakfast I’ve been eating for YEARS that is easy to make and easy to eat! Not only is it delicious, all four ingredients are clean–nothing processed or loaded with sugar to make it taste good. Plus? You can prep it ahead of time.
Prep time: 5 minutes
Total time: 5 minutes
Makes one serving

- 1 cup whole milk Greek yogurt
- 1-2 teaspoons honey
- dash of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
- Optional Toppings: walnuts, almond slices, pecan halves, or unshelled pistachios.

- Add yogurt to a bowl or travel container.
- Carefully, sprinkle cinnamon over the top. This is all your preference. If you aren’t sure, start small first. I like to add enough of a layer that it’s brown, but not so much that I can’t still see yogurt.
- Drizzle your honey on top.
- Mix yogurt, cinnamon, and honey together. Doing this makes sure you are getting these flavors in every bite.
- Top with blueberries or mix in.
- Eat immediately or prep in advance to grab and go!
I have been eating this for breakfast 5-6 days per week for the past few years. Not only is it healthy, but also enjoyable! I feel good starting my day knowing I’m not just running on coffee and a prayer, and my body and brain are happier because I’m fueling them with more than just caffeine.
One single blueberry has an amazing amount of antioxidants and health benefits, so having these little super foods to start your day is setting your body and brain up to win your day! The whole milk Greek yogurt is packed with protein, and leaves me feeling satiated and full after consuming.
You can use a vanilla flavored Greek yogurt, but read. the. label. and make sure that there isn’t any added sugar. Otherwise, this defeats the purpose of this breakfast idea because it’s no longer low-sugar. Dannon Oikos Vanilla is a great brand that has zero added sugar, is still Greek yogurt, and is packed with protein.
I also love that this recipe takes the guessing and decision-making out of what I should eat for breakfast. I remember the days when I wasn’t eating breakfast and it was either a last minute decision or I just couldn’t figure out what to have, felt decision fatigue, and ultimately ended up not eating anything at all.
If you’re busy, this is a perfect recipe for you because it’s so quick and easy to throw together. You can even take it to go! I have to-go cups that have plastic spoons attached that I can prep and put in the fridge, and then grab and go if I have an early day.
I hope this gave you a great idea for what to eat to fuel your body! If not for breakfast, this also makes a great mid-morning, afternoon, or evening snack.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Until next time,
