Easy to make + no added junk like some store bought seasonings, this Cajun one is sure to spice up any dish with some heat.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

- 2 Tablespoons paprika
- 2 Tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 Tablespoons dried oregano
- 1 Tablespoon onion powder
- 1 Tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 teaspoons course black pepper
- 2 teaspoons cayenne

- Add all ingredients into a small bowl and combine well.
- Store in airtight container.

- I use this seasoning almost exclusively with the recipe Cajun Shrimp + Veggies, but it can definitely be used on grilled shrimp, or even chicken to add some heat to any dish.
- If you’re unsure how much to use, start small. It packs some heat and, as we all know, it’s easier to add more than remove what you’ve already added.
Making your own spices is not only cost effective but also helps keep added preservatives out of the mix. Many store bought pre-mixed spices have added preservatives and extra salt. This is just one small way to eat cleaner as you cook.
