Time: Less than 10 minutes
Ages: 3-4
This activity has five pages of identifying items that are the same or different. This is a fairly quick one and takes less than 10 minutes. It can be done by printing the pages out if you want a more hands on approach, or simply having your toddler point at the screen. If you don’t have a printer or if you’re like me and there’s a 75% chance you don’t have ink 😉
If you would prefer to have the link to the slideshow, it can be accessed here through my Canva account, completely free. Or you may download the link below for a PDF version. Pro tip: Print in black and white to save on colored ink! This can be changed in the settings before you print.
I hope you enjoy this quick and fun activity to do with your toddler! Viv has asked to do this several times over again even though she knows the answers now.
I’ve also started mixing it up and asking her different questions just to keep it interesting like, “which fruit is your favorite?” or “which of these grow on trees and which grow in the ground?” or “which of these are fruits and which are vegetables?” (The tomato sparked a heated debate between myself and my husband, so tread lightly with that one). The point isn’t that she knows the answers, just to get her thinking and engaged instead of repeating the activity like a robot.
Until next time,
