I love this recipe around the holidays because it’s a nice salty snack in the midst of all the sweet stuff. A great snack to give away to friends, family, and neighbors, or to bring to a holiday party or potluck! I rarely have any left to bring back home.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Makes about a Ziploc gallon bag full

- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon Lawry’s seasoning salt
- 1 packet of original Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix
- 1 teaspoon of dill weed
- 2 packages oyster crackers

- In a small bowl, combine oil, seasoning salt, ranch dressing mix, and dill weed. Whisk together very well.
- In a large bowl, add both packages of oyster crackers.
- Pour oil mixture over the top of the crackers.
- Stir to cover evenly.
- Store in airtight container.

- If you prefer not to use vegetable oil, I have used extra virgin olive oil and it turns out just as good.
This came from my mom’s Tupperware sales days and I’ve tried lots of other versions of this recipe (taco seasoning, ranch, spicy, etc.), but I personally think this one is the best. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do in our family!
